Multi-Tenancy

As a cloud-based service, multi-tenancy is a natural part of the design of the ScaleXtreme product. This gives managed service providers, cloud service providers, and enterprises the ability to host and manage multiple customer accounts through a single, unified interface.

The multi-tenancy and user account management is flexible enough to allow a single MSP administrator to manage multiple customer accounts, and can also be setup to allow the individual customers to login to their accounts to view their own systems and run specific operations on their systems without gaining access to any other customer servers. Access control can also be locked down so a sub-user can only perform certain actions within the account.

Create Unlimited, Custom Roles

The product has full, customizable role-based access control functionality built-in. You have the ability to create an unlimited number of roles, and to customize each role to specify what each user can and can't do. For instance, while a full Administrator can create new servers and manage existing ones, you might want to create an Operator role that can only initiate new server operations but not access anything else.

Full Endpoint User Impersonation

ScaleXtreme is also able to specify what user is impersonated at the endpoint - so if you want the agent to conduct operations with a non "root" or "Administrator" at the endpoint, you can easily specify this in the system.
